The GreenCap is an innovative Green Planning system, which utilizes an evolutionary algorithm for load shifting of IoT-enabled devices, considering the integration of renewable energy sources, multiple constraints, peak-demand times, and dynamic pricing. GreenCap utilizes a memetic algorithm to further improve users fitness and provide high convergence, as well as efficiently manage a large number of smart devices, while maintaining user comfort at high levels.

GreenCap has been developed by researchers and students at the Data Management Systems Laboratory (DMSL), Department of Computer Science at the University of Cyprus.
